I saw a card made by Laura Beacham and loved it - here is my version.  So much fun using the cutest elephant from Sweet Baby and the new Scallop border thincuts are so easy to use and add some dimension!  The flowers are from the September promotion for National Stamping Month, From the Heart and oh my goodness, such a clever set!  Look for more posts using this set to come!

Adore You Birthday

Hello, today's card is a birthday card using the Adore You set that was January's Stamp of the Month - hope you didn't miss out!

A special friend was having a special birthday recently so this is what I came up with - hope she likes it!  The covered up bit has her name personalized on the card using Etched Alphabet on a banner edged with the Gold Shimmer Brush. 'Happy Birthday' was cut out using our Thin Cuts - Happy Birthday and our Gold Glitter Paper.  I believe it was Fern cardstock I used for the background but forgot to write that down.

Honeycomb Birthday Wishes

I saw something similar on Pinterest and came up with these - they came together pretty quickly, using up scraps of paper, cut into hexagons with Artbooking (pg 66 @ 1-1/4"), arranged them, and stamped the sentiments with Card Chatter - Birthday (retired) using Black ink.  Easy peasy.

Teddy Bear Birthday

Surfing the net the other day and came across a technique I'd forgotten about and wanted to revisit ... I love the background for this and it is so easy to do!

The teddy bear is adorable and I was glad to finally have a chance to use him!  I still can't believe that set is only $6.95!!  I popped up his hat and present with dimensional tape.

Here's a little birthday card using the Honeycomb set, the Buzz & Bumble Scrapbooking Workshop on the Go stamp set and the Just a Number stamp set.  I also used Black, Ruby and Honey inks.

A colleague asked me to make a card for her niece's 13th birthday - she likes to play soccer so I used an old stamp set I had that had a soccer ball in it - looking at the photos though, the ball looks like a flower!  Hmmm ... oh well!  I also used the Card Chatter - Birthday and Artiste to cut 13 out (at 1-1/2" and 1-1/4") and the 1-1/4, 1-3/4 and 2 inch circles.  The 1-3/8 circles were a punch.  The easel card base was 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 and then scored at 4-1/4 and 6-3/8.  The card front was 4-1/4" square and embossed with a folder from the wedding suite set.  I added a bit of bling onto the edge of the Hip hip Hooray banner.
