I'm seriously loving my new Cricut Explore - I'm getting even more use out of our wonderful Cricut Cartridges with it ... this card was mostly done in Design Space with Artbooking and it took me just forever to do it (j/k, it whipped up speedy quick actually!)
Hello! Today's card is made with this month's Stamp of the Month, Happy Place. Such a cute set and you can get it only during the month of March and for only $5 (with a qualifying order of $50) or you can just get it for $17.95 without having to order anything else :)
Here is a card I made last year, using the flowers cut from the Art Philosophy cart. The velum is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The fern leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. The circle behind the flowers was also a Cuttlebug embossing folder, Swiss Dots. The Mr & Mrs was embossed with Silver embossing powder after being stamped with Versamark ink.
and so I thought I'd make a card. I was surfing today and came across this lady's wonderful card and for once realized I actually had the stamps and the carts and it all fell into place! So here's my version of the card.
Supplies Used: S1212 Year Round Cheer (SOTM retired) Art Philosophy (8 hearts cut at 1-1/4" pg 26 and a stem cut from the branch on pg 35, also cut at 1-1/4") Topiary ink Green Glitter glue for centre of shamrock Have a great day!
Here's a cute little gift tag I made up - the wee mouse is from the Cricut Cartridge Winter Frolic, pg 56, cut at 2.25 and the tag is from Artiste, pg 37, cut at 4.5.
Not mine but my parents-in-law - 56 years! That's something you don't hear a lot! I used Cashmere and Chocolate ink, the SOTM Baroque Borders, the sentiment is from Say It In Style, the roses from Art Philosophy, and the banner is from Artiste, cut at 1-1/4" (pg 58 Shift-Accent 3).
Hope they like it!
(It was hard to get a decent picture of it - trust me, it does look much better in person!) Cheers!
