Well if you'd come to my open house, you'd have been able to make these fun cards ... let me know if you'd like to know any upcoming workshop dates or host your own party - you could have some fun, just sayin' ;-)
Well I sat down to do a totally different card, not even Christmas related, but this is what I ended up with! I fussycut the reindeer's head and propped him up with 3-D foam tape. The diagonal design was inspired from here.
Take the length of shimmer trim that you'd like to use and attach it to a piece of printer paper along the edge. Once that is done, it is stabilized and easier to deal with if you'd like to punch it with a border punch. Once punched, you can cut it with your trimmer and attach to your project with liquid glass or adhesive of your choice.
One of my facebook groups simply exploded recently when folks started discovering this embossing folder that came with Issue No. 122 of the UK magazine, Paper Essentials. It became known as "That Folder". Of course I too HAD to HAVE it so managed to track it down.
Here's what I managed with my first attempt using it after it arrived.
Not only is our new Annual Inspirations out now but we've also got a new Holiday Expressions catalogue full of holiday goodies for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as being the new home for our Stamp of the Month stamp sets. Let me know if you'd like a ocpy of either or both!
I'm in love with our new Stamp of the Month for September - Paper Garden. So much possibility! Be sure to check out my Pinterest group for inspiration to use this set! I'll have some posts coming shortly which use it as well.
And of course it's also National Stamping Month so Close to My Heart has created 3 unique stamp sets that you can purchase, one, two or all 3.
Have a happy Labour Day weekend and I'll be back next week with some wonderful creations for you all to take a gander at.
