Buzzing ...

I made a belated birthday card and thought I'd share it with you!

I used Chocolate ink and the Buzz and Bumble Scrapbooking Workshop on the Go papers and stamp set.  On the inside of the card (which I forgot to take a scan of before I sent it away), I used sentiments for Card Chatter - Birthday (I didn't forget your Birthday I'm just extending the Celebration!)

Love how this turned out!

Have a great day!

Namaste

I used the Dream Pop paper for this card ... the Balanced Diva stamps are from Gina K.  I paper-pieced the yoga pants.

I also used some silver glitter paper that I had on hand but CTMH also sells this if you don't already have some (and at a better price,  I might add, than what I recall paying for this paper!).  This paper seems to really enhance the silver glitter so if you don't have some, get some!  LOL!  I used foam tape to pop up the glitter paper and then used liquid glass to attach the main image.

Have a great day!

Wedding Card

Here is a card I made last year, using the flowers cut from the Art Philosophy cart.  The velum is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The fern leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.  The circle behind the flowers was also a Cuttlebug embossing folder, Swiss Dots.  The Mr & Mrs was embossed with Silver embossing powder after being stamped with Versamark ink.

Have a great day!

At Nineteen

This is another scrapbook project I made in Studio J - love it!

It is of my daughter who recently turned 19.  She is an amazing young woman and I'm so proud of her!

The papers I used are called 'Olivia' which are retired but still available in Studio J!

Have a great day!

Live Inspired

Ok, saw a card today and fell in love with it.  It's not the same but here's my version.

I used the Live Inspired stamp set (retired), Bamboo, Desert Sand, Cocoa inks, Versamark and Clear Embossing powder.  The background is from the Cuttlebug Wedding Suite set.

Love how it turned out.

Have a great day!

Sweet as Honey

I'm lovin' the Honeycomb stamp set - here is a quick 4x4 card.  Inks used were Honey and Cocoa.  I also used the bee from the Buzz and Bumble Scrapbooking Workshop on the Go stamp set.

I did cut the bee and the honeycombs out.  I have to figure out how to cut the honeycombs out on the Cricut - there are honeycomb shapes in both the Winter Woodland and Accent Essentials carts but I haven't had time to figure out the sizes yet !

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Valentine's Day

Ok, you have to know this about me ... I'm a leave it to the last minute kind of gal!  LOL!

Here is the card I finally settled on making for my dearest hubby ... I sat down with a totally different card in my head than this but sometimes you just gotta go with the flow ... I married my best friend almost 21 years ago (anniversary is in just a couple of weeks) and I have never regretted it even for a second!  Happily I didn't leave that to the last second ;)

Hope he likes it!

I put this on the inside

13

A colleague asked me to make a card for her niece's 13th birthday - she likes to play soccer so I used an old stamp set I had that had a soccer ball in it - looking at the photos though, the ball looks like a flower!  Hmmm ... oh well!  I also used the Card Chatter - Birthday and Artiste to cut 13 out (at 1-1/2" and 1-1/4") and the 1-1/4, 1-3/4 and 2 inch circles.  The 1-3/8 circles were a punch.  The easel card base was 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 and then scored at 4-1/4 and 6-3/8.  The card front was 4-1/4" square and embossed with a folder from the wedding suite set.  I added a bit of bling onto the edge of the Hip hip Hooray banner.

Have a great day!

The Boy has a Car

Well the boy has a car ... I don't know whether to be happy for him, or even more scared for me!  Oh the perils of growing up - it's way harder on the parents!   LOL!

Anyway, pulled this card together for him - hope he likes it!

It's 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" so is a big card and I used Cricut Craft Room so am not sure what size the car was cut at.  I seem to be making not standard size cards these days - not sure what that's all about!

Have a great day!

Supplies used:

Slate ink
Cricut Father's Day cart for the car
CTMH It's Your Day for Best Day Ever
CTMH Cruisin Workshop on the Go stamp set for the background stamped on the silver paper
