Hello - last chance to get the Poster Tidings September Stamp of the Month is Monday, Sep 30th - if you've been thinking about it, now is the time to act as it won't be available after that. Here are a couple of cards I was playing around with ...
Hello! Just a reminder that after Sept 30 you will no longer be able to get this wonderful stamp set, You are My Happy! Simply place a $50 order and for $10 you can get this wonderful 3-D size sheets worth stamp set! I love all the sayings on it and the alphabet will get lots of use and the icons are great too!
Here is a card I made using it and the Fashionista set
Ok, I've had a package of these circle spin cards in my hot little hands for a bit now and finally decided I HAD to use them ... did some research on best methods and here are the results ... might have a class on these, they were such fun to make!
Still in a Thanksgiving frame of mind so here are two more cards to help celebrate the season ... I used the Perfect Fit - Thanksgiving set, stamping the turkey after cutting out out the turkey shape from the Artiste cartridge first. On the first card I cut the scalloped square from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I used the Always Grateful set on the 2nd card.
Canadian Thanksgiving is not far away so have turned my thoughts towards what it means for me and mostly it is gratitude for all we are able to have in our lives ... our family and friends, our work, our schooling, our everything! We're very fortunate! I used the Abundance stamp set (retired) and worked on some colouring with our markers (I'm not very good at it but keep trying), and the Stitch Wonder for the border along with Cocoa ink and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Ok I have no idea why I didn't do these gorgeous cards when I first got the kit but there you go ... so glad I did them now! Sadly the kit is now retired but if you have it in your stash, dig it out! You won't be sorry!
This is the first in a series of videos that CTMH will be putting out through to April of next year exploring the Artbooking cartridge. It is really such a wonderful cartridge - let me know if you want to see it live and in person!
Looking through the Autumn/Winter Idea book and found a lovely birthday card I liked the look of so thought I'd try to replicate it somewhat ... used Art Philosophy and Artbooking as well as the Holiday Tags stamp set!
I told ya, I'm in polar bear love! I found this retired set (Nature's Gift) and played around a bit with the twilight ink and white embossing powder. Added a snowflake embossed background and stamped the paper ribbon with a stamp from the Frosted Cardmaking Workshop on the Go kit.
Ok, I just have to say it ... I LOVE how these cards turned out!
If you'd like to make these too to get a great start on this year's Christmas cards, let me know! This kit makes 15 cards altogether (3 designs, 5 of each design) so you'd be well on your way (or perhaps even done) to getting a good supply of cards in hand. Products Used: Frosted Cardmaking Workshop on the Go kit Twilight ink Ruby ink Cocoaink Olive ink Have a great day!
I'm developing a new love ... Polar Bears! Here is a card using our new Polar Bear Holiday stamp set to make a cute little 3x3" card that you can just tuck into a gift bag, use it as a tag or use as a card.
Hello! I seem to be making cards in two's these days! These are super simple cards to pull together. I had some pre-made cards with envelopes that are 5x7" size that I want to get used up so here I used the Artiste cart and cut 'Hello' twice then ran them through two different embossing folders. Easy as pie! (Not that pie is easy, or maybe it's 'pi' that they are referring to!?! LOL!)
Products Used: Artiste, pg 65 cut at 2" (5x7 card) Shift<card> embossed with Swiss dots and Spots and Dots embossing folders Have a great day!
